Inside Roaring River State Park, seven miles south of Cassville on Highway 112.
The hatchery grounds are located at the source of Roaring River. A 7.5-mile stretch of Roaring River and associated park lands are managed cooperatively with Missouri Department of Natural Resources to provide a trout fishery.Natural features include Roaring River Spring and Devil's Icebox Spring, which falls from a bluff-top crevice.From Memorial Day through Labor Day, guided tours of the hatchery facility begin at 2 p.m. daily. Between Labor Day and Memorial Day, guided tours are available for groups at their request.There is a viewing deck (Deer Leap Overlook) of the hatchery located on Department of Natural Resource lands.
